The TABtouch York Cup will be held on Sunday 8 November 2026. Gates open at 11.30am, with racing, entertainment and celebrations continuing throughout the afternoon. 

York Racecourse is located at 102 Spencers Brook–York Road, York, approximately one hour from Perth. Race-day entry is via Eighth Road. 

Yes. Free parking is available onsite at York Racecourse. Please follow the directional signage and instructions from race-day parking attendants when you arrive. 

Tickets can be purchased online through our official Ticketebo booking page. We recommend booking early, particularly if you would like to reserve a Trackside Tent. 

A Trackside Tent gives your group its own reserved base from which to enjoy Cup Day. Each tent booking includes racecourse admission for ten guests. 

Yes. Catering packages can be pre-ordered for Trackside Tent guests. Packages are limited, so we recommend arranging your catering when making your booking. 

A canteen will also operate throughout the day, and multiple bars will offer alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. 

Cup Day will feature a full program of thoroughbred racing, Fashions on the Field, fashion parades, the crowd-favourite Champagne Race, complimentary makeup touch-up stations, children’s activities and live entertainment.

The celebrations will continue with live music by Claudia Tripp after the final race.

Race-day fashion is encouraged! Whether you dress to compete in Fashions on the Field or simply wear something that makes you feel fabulous, the York Cup is the perfect opportunity to dress up and enjoy a great country racing occasion.

Comfortable footwear, sunscreen and a hat are also recommended.

A shuttle service is planned between York’s town center and York Racecourse. Timetable and collection-point information will be announced closer to Cup Day.

Absolutely. York is the perfect destination for a weekend escape, with heritage attractions, accommodation, shopping, cafés and restaurants to enjoy before and after the races.

Accommodation can fill quickly around major events, so early booking is recommended.

Yes. The York Cup is an all-ages event, with free entry for children under 16 and family entertainment available throughout the day. Children must remain under the supervision of a responsible adult. 

You are welcome to bring your own food to enjoy on race day. However, York Racecourse is a licensed venue and strictly no BYO alcohol is permitted.

Food will also be available to purchase throughout the day, and licensed bars will offer a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
